Apr 04, 2024 Season 2 Episode 14
Natasha Cantrell & Anthony Lopez

Every life story has its shadows and peaks. In this week's episode our latest guest, Army Veteran,  business owner of Kinetic Ink, and co-founder of the non-profit Warfighter Overwatch, Danny O'Neel takes us through his journey to some of those darkest shadows and some of those highest peaks.

From the trials of a fractured family to the tribulations of poverty, his journey is a testament to human resilience. As a child, he learned to navigate the tumultuous waters of a life split between a drug-addicted mother and a disciplined, military father, emerging with a fortitude that would later define his character.

For many, 9/11 is a day we will never forget. For Danny, it was the exact day he traded his day job for combat boots. A day that changed his life in more ways than one. As you listen, you'll witness a transformation from civilian to soldier, where the values of loyalty, leadership, respect, and courage become the guiding stars of a new life path.

Join us for a narrative steeped in the brotherhood of arms, as our guest shares the raw and unfiltered chronicles of military camaraderie in the demanding environs of Korea and Iraq. The bonds forged in the "hounds of hell" squad are as unbreakable as they are inspiring, a brotherhood that endures through the highs of shared laughter to the solemn gravity of suicide. Danny may have hung up his military gear but hear how he now fights the battle at home against veteran and first responder suicide through Warfighter Overwatch.

This episode will leave you grateful, inspired and reminded that (in the words of Danny himself) "what's inside of you is greater than what's in front of you."
